Well what a year it has been!
We hope you are keeping well and we are so grateful for all your support.
We would like to reassure you that we are permanently updating our risk assessments to look after our customers and staff. We are still opening later in the morning (10am) and closing earlier at night (4pm) so that we can sanitise everything thoroughly before you enter and we do this throughout the day. We are sorry that we are closed on Sundays but, to be honest, just like everyone, this year has taken it’s toll on us and our staff and we feel it is the right thing to do for the wellbeing of us all.
This July we have finally opened our outside seating for Coffees and people are able to come into the farmshop.
Ruth has made a 2 minute video to explain our procedures in the hope that it makes you feel more comfortable coming to the nursery. Sorry that it is not very professional and look out for the interruptions by my Dad and the Coffee machine in the background!
We were so delighted when Mark Murphy rang us from Radio Suffolk at the end of July to give us a mention for ‘Making a Difference during the Coronovirus outbreak.’ Our certificate has pride of place on our shop door and Mark even took the time to deliver it in person.
Most of you know that the team and a lovely group of volunteers worked during lockdown to take food orders over the telephone and we set up a safe collection gate and a delivery service. It was hard work but it was great to be able to ‘do our bit’ in our community.
